I just bought a blue pit this weekend that comes from Iron Tyson. I am SO happy with her. I'm not too sure how big she is going to get, but for 16 weeks she is already has heavy as my 14 mo old german shepherd mix. She is stunning with the best temperament of any dog I've ever had. I can't stand the stereotype pits have gotten (especially for us folks in GA dealing with the whole VICK storyline!) and I can wait to show people what a special dog they are beyond just a big, scary muscle dog. She was the laziest of the litter though (VERY MELLOW) so I would appreciate any advice on how to keep her in shape as she matures and no i don't have a treadmill.

Hello- I have to confess.....I became aware of ICK on Housewives of the OC...hey any publicity is good publicity! I just have to say I have had a long time love of the breed. Before I was married with children and a shi tzu...I had Bosco, the BEST american staffordshire pit bull in the world. That dog was everything to me, that dog was more in tuned with me than people. I lost him in a bitter divorce battle and hope he is happy.
I bought that puppy from a breeder that bred for the love of the breed, and not for love of greed..money.I hope to one day have another "bosco" in our lives....however the stigma on these dogs are hard to overlook, even insurance is higher with these types of dogs, and boy you get the look if you have a pit around kids. Along with breeding such beuatiful dogs I hope that ICK educates the public about what a gentle breed these dogs are, any dog in the wrong hands can be turned into bad dogs.
I was one of those people that got caught up in the real estate crisis, so we have some time to go before we can look into investing in a dog. But with gods help I know that when the timing is right, we will be calling ICK to find an addition to our family.

I'm from Kauai and I saw your link. I must say you have some nice dogs I'm hoping I can eventually get a female from Disciple, He is one solid dog! Keep up the good work with your dogs.

I have a 13 month old Bitch her name is Matilda she is a grand daughter out of Deciple & Athena .My wife & I love her even if it means having a 75lb(and growing)girl in our bed.. If I did not see your web site I might have not had her.. Thank You & Tim Murphy And I Thank God for all that he his given to us.. Brian

i search since 6 months for a great puppi in germany but i never can find...

i luv your page! the song and everything....i have a American Stafford Terrier...hes a hand full but luv him too death...wish i could get another pup but i got asshole neighbors who signed a petition against my bully breed. so Deog is no longer here with us. he resides in SD with my bro. but i luv pitts and u look like u have a lot of love for them as well. i envy u! take care
